Town of Vincent Criterium
Race 3 of the SmokeFree Perth Criteriums is to be staged in the ‘cycling central’ of Perth, Leederville.
The Oxford St café strip is a popular meeting point for many Perth people – especially cyclists! Visit Oxford St on any Saturday morning (or any morning for that matter!) and you will see hundreds of cyclists finishing their early morning rides and stopping for a latte and breakfast.
Race 3 will see many spectators taking advantage of the sidewalk seating in one of the numerous cafes whilst taking in the frantic and exciting pace criterium racing has to offer.
The Town of Vincent is the perfect place to see cyclists use their technical ability and battle it out for series points going into the last race.

Starting at the intersection of Oxford St and Vincent St the course heads north up-hill before making a U-turn at Melrose St to head back down Oxford. Riders will make a sharp left turn onto Newcastle St followed by a quick right hand U-turn around the traffic island in front of the Leederville Hotel. a sweeping left hand turn into Newcastle St. This is followed by a quick left hand U-turn around the traffic island and back out in front of the Leederville Hotel. A right hand turn into Oxford St will take the riders back to the start/finish line to complete one lap. (See map below) |

Will occur immediately after the Men’s Race; all placed cyclists (1, 2, 3) must be present for presentations. |
