Junior Race Announced
The Smokefree Perth Criteriums 2012 will be holding a Junior Criterium* at Race 2 Town of Victoria Park! This race will be available for U17 and U15 male and female riders who hold a Cycling Australia/WA licence.
There will be two categories in this race:
Category 1: the U17 boys;
Category 2:
the U17girls, U15 boys and girls.
Both categories will run at the same time. Category 1 will start ahead of Category 2; meaning that Category 2 will be one full lap ahead, and Category 1 will have to lap the bunch to be in the overall lead of the race. Any one lapped after this point will be pulled out of the race (lapped for a second time).
Race Details:
Date - Sunday 12th February 2012
Race Check In - 12.45pm to 1.20pm
Race Briefing - 1.20pm Start Line
Race Start - 1.30pm
Race Duration - 20 mins + 2 laps
Categories 1 - U17 Boys
2 - U17 Girls, U15 Boys & Girls
Cost - $25 per rider
Presentations - during the Open Men's Race approx 3.15pm
The top three for each category will be awarded a prize.

Please note that all nominees will need to have their Cycling Australia licence number and make full payment in order for nomination to be accepted.
Nominations for this event close 31st January 2012. At this point all nominated riders will receive further correspondence via email.
* This event is subject to achieving minimum numbers of 25 riders (total). In the event that the minimum numbers are not achieved, a full refund will be given to all who have nominated.
Support Men's, Open Women's and Open Men's
The 2012 Smokefree Perth Criteriums will have three categorys:

Nominations for the 2012 Smokefree Perth Criteriums will be open from Tuesday 25th October and will close 5pm 5th December 2011.
In 2012 the Smokefree Perth Criteriums have adopted a new process of registrations.

Competition Numbers
To ensure that the SmokeFree Perth Criteriums has the highest standard field for each event, there will be limited places available in each category.
Open Men's - 10 Teams, four cyclists per team (40 riders total)
Open Women's - 10 Teams/40 cyclists, four cyclists per team or individual nominations (**)
Support Men's - 15 Teams, four cyclist per team (60 riders total) (**, #)
Notes:
** - Open Women's Category will need to achieve minimum numbers for the event to go ahead. A minimum of 20 nominated riders is required by the cut off date. In the event of not achieving minimum numbers (20 women) by the cut off date indicated above, consideration will be given to either a second support men's race. Women will have the option to race in these categories.
# - Individual nominations for the Support Men's category will only be considered if event organisers do not receive enough nominations to fill the field. If you are an individual wanting to race please contact TriEvents to discuss options.

Entry Details:
The following Sponsorship Investment is required to become a Team Sponsor –
Sponsorship Fee:
Open Men's - Team of four: $2,400.00 + GST
Open Women's - Team of four: $850.00 + GST or Individuals: $250.00 + GST
Support Men's - Team of four $850.00 + GST
Notes:
i. The above fees are exclusive of GST.
ii. Payment must be received within 14 days of teams/individuals receiving invoices.
iii. The sponsorship fee does not include the creation/printing of team kits.
Online Registration
Teams must have the following details of each team member to complete your team nomination - full name, email address, date of birth and Cycling Australia License number. Nomination forms that are incomplete will not be accepted (incomplete nominations are considered any nomination forms without all team members details included).
Nominations to ride will be open from Tuesday 25th October until 5pm Monday 5th December 2011.
On Thursday 8th December 2011 teams successful in gaining entry into the 2012 Smokefree Criteriums will be contacted and sent a invoice for payment of sponsorship. Only once payment is received is the team confirmed to compete.
