The Smokefree Perth Criteriums is Western Australia’s premier criterium series. Established in 2008 the Smokefree Perth Criteriums provide WA cyclists with the opportunity to race in a high profile cycling series.
Cycling has increasingly gained popularity over the past several years for both a means of transport as well as a highly enjoying activity to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
The successes of our elite Australian cyclists have also proven to inspire the Australian public to get on their bikes. Most recent successes of Cadel Evans winning the 2011 Tour de France and our local hero Cameron Meyer five time World Track Champion, Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist and winner of the 2011 Santos Tour Down Under; as well as many other West Aussies that are making their name on the international circuit all generate interest in this fast paced, exciting sport.
The Smokefree Perth Criteriums have been able to attract some great national cyclists for the four day series and 2012 we hope will be no exception.

Entries for this event are open from Tuesday 25th October to Monday 5th December 2011. After this date, riders for the 2012 Smokefree Perth Criteriums will be confirmed.

Event Program
The week leading up to the 2012 Smokefree Perth Criteriums an event program will be available in this space.
Race 1 - Osborne Park Criterium
The Osborne Park Criterium is a new edition to the Smokefree Series and will kick of as the first race in 2012. Predicted to be a fast course, riders will have an interesting start to the series all going into the unknown together.

Race 2 - Town of Victoria Park Criterium
The Town of Victoria Park are always excited to welcome the Smokefree Perth Criteriums to Albany Hwy on a Sunday afternoon. Traditionally this course has been the home to hot conditions and a long forte battle, going right down to the last lap!

Race 3 - City of Vincent Criterium
Oxford St Leederville is usually one of the busiest places early morning with cyclists having their first coffee fix of the day; but this Monday evening will be a show stopper. City of Vincent Criterium has always been the highlight of the series; as short sharp course makes it entertaining for all.

Race 4 - City of Fremantle Criterium
It all comes down to this last race! The past two years have seen both men's and women's results decided on the final night which makes for an exciting finale! The City of Fremantle is proud to host the final race that will have a little love in the air (Valentines Day)
